Hi all!
Welcome to Big Apple Adventure at Ross Christian Church!
Tonight the theme was CONNECT WITH FAITH! We are challenging all of the kids to learn tonight’s memory verse Romans 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. Please work with your children to memorize the verse, if they can recite it to you without looking at your memory card, please sign the back of the card and have them return it the next day for a small treat.
We are supporting Woodland Lakes Christian Camp and Retreat Center in Amelia, OH. Tonight the kids put together first aid kids for us to take with us when we sponsor a week of camp for 4/5 Graders July 31 – August 5. Our offering this week will also be donated to Woodland Lakes to be used as needed to support the camp. Tonight was nickel night, tomorrow will be dime night. The girls and boys are competing to see who can bring in the most offering to benefit our mission work.
Thank you for letting us spend time with your children. We feel truly blessed to be part of teaching them about Christ and all that he has done for us and continues to do for us through our Faith.

Welcome to Big Apple Adventure at Ross Christian Church!
Tonight the theme was CONNECT WITH LOVE! We are challenging all of the kids to learn tonight’s memory verse 1 John 4:19 see the cards we sent home Please work with your children to memorize the verse, if they can recite it to you without looking at your memory card, please sign the back of the card and have them return it the next day for a small treat.
Our mission this week is Woodland Lakes Christian Camp and Retreat Center. Tonight the kids raised over $220 in support of the mission work Woodland Lakes does. In the Mission area they also
Tonight we put together stationary packs for the campers who will be joining us for our week of camp, July 31 – August 5. If you have a 4th or 5th grader who would like to join us at camp, please go to http://www.woodlandlakes.com.
Closing program will be Thursday evening, beginning at 8:30 p.m. Please join us and see what the kids have done all week. Also, you can check on us nightly at www.rosscc.org/vbs.
Please note: We are trying to get done as close to 9:00 p.m. as we can, we are running over about 10 minutes. If you need to get your children before we finish, please see one of the security personnel so we have everyone accounted for.

Hi all!
Welcome to Big Apple Adventure at Ross Christian Church!
Tonight the theme was CONNECT WITH TRUST! Every night the kids are challenged to learn the evening’s Memory verse and return their signed card to the Crew Leaders the following day for a small treat. It is amazing how the kids are doing in learning the Bible Verses.
We have lots of reason to praise God this week: The rain has held off (tonight it was all around us but did not rain here!), the kids have been a true joy, we have had enough volunteers to take care of the kids, and we are truly enjoying ourselves. Our biggest praise is to see the children every night as they learn more about God and that he loves us.
In support of our mission, Woodland Lakes Christian Camp and Retreat Center, our children brought in $150.15, making our total for the week $394.18. Tomorrow night is “paper money” night. Currently the girls are winning the contest, so we look forward to the boys making a strong finish the next two nights!

Wednesday Night, June 22
Hi all!
Welcome to Big Apple Adventure at Ross Christian Church!
Tonight the theme was CONNECT WITH OTHERS! Every night the kids are challenged to learn the evening’s Memory verse and return their signed card to the Crew Leaders the following day for a small treat. It is amazing how the kids are doing in learning the Bible Verses.
Our luck ran out tonight—here came the rain! But, we adjusted; Playground 1017 came inside and played games in the foyer.
Tonight was “bill” night and the total for our missions was $207.43, making our weekly total $601.61. The girls are winning the contest right now, so Luke Davidson, our Senior Minister, is rooting the boys on for a final drive to the finish as he is thinking he may not like an applesauce pie in the face!

We would like to invite you to join us every Sunday morning at 9:30 for Sunday School and 10:45 for Worship Service. The Children’s Ministry is planning an exciting Summer program which will be like a mini-VBS every Sunday. There are several adult Sunday School classes offered as well as the Sunday School classes for the children. We would love to continue worshipping with you every Sunday.

Thursday Night, June 23- Final Night 
Hi all!
Welcome to Big Apple Adventure at Ross Christian Church!
Tonight the theme was CONNECT WITH LIFE! Tonight’s Memory Verse is 1 Corinthians 16:13-14: Be alert, stand firm in the faith, be brave and strong. Your every action must be done with love.
Tonight we were amazed at the outpouring of love for our mission Woodland Lakes Christian Camp and Retreat Center. After tonight’s offering of a total of $513.47 (absolutely amazing!), our total offering is $1,115.08. This is our highest giving in a few years, we thank all of you for making this happen!
We have not talked about snacks and crafts at all this week! Tonight’s snack was a smiley face (apple, peanut butter, and marshmallows) and the craft is a picture of with a taxi cab frame. We have had a lot of good snacks and the crafts have been fun all week – I liked the bracelets they made yesterday.
Photos of the children and staff have been posted nightly to www.rosscc.org/vbs. I hope that you have taken time to follow us during the week. We have had a great time and we feel the kids have learned more about Christ, ultimately that is what this week has been all about.
Sunday morning we will play a collage of the pictures from this week with the theme song playing during the worship service. We invite you to join us this and every Sunday morning at 9:30 for Sunday School and 10:45 for Worship Service. Thanks to all of the volunteers that make this possible. A special thanks to Leslie Ellis who planned the entire week over the last few months and then stepped in and led the craft area. Because of her planning and organization and many prayers, this week was a huge success.
